I was born at Northeastern Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, San Miguel County, New Mexico.I was baptized Catholic at the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. My Godparents are Richard and Kathy Romero. The very first memory I have is being in a car seat and seeing what seemed to be my Uncle Richard and Auntie Kathy Romero. The next memory I have is playing with a wagon I got for either Christmas or birthday when I was about four or five years old. I remember attending a small school that is on Romero St. I also attended Armijo Elementary and a little later Paul D. Henry. During my Kindergarten years, I remember painting at some school and taking naps. At Paul D., I remember learning ABC's, Spanish, and taking my first school picture. Out of the school I remember my auntie Kathy and uncle Richard getting married and my uncle Richard making everyone laugh with showing his socks and I copied him. My Mom and Dad got married and we lived on 2nd Street in a single wide mobile home. I remember my grandpo Benito and I walking down the street to Dairy Queen to get an ice cream. We didn't live there long and we moved to a white house on Pecos Street. I took the bus to school. There was a yellow house next to ours on the south and a grey one on the north side. I remember having a friend name Joe that lived in the yellow house and I think my parents' friend Henry Marrujo and his wife lived in the gray house. They had a son named Frankie and a daughter named Henrietta. I only remember listening to oldies, a Halloween that I went trick or treating, eating KFC, walking on the railroad tracks with my dad, and a helicopter flying real low by our house. We lived in Las Vegas, NM from October 15, 1982 to August 1988.
